Come and learn some basic tips of flower arranging from Master Gardener, Cindy Fagan. Each participant will prepare her own individual arrangement from a variety of flowers and stems provided to take home and enjoy or give as a gift to a special someone. Bored, hungry and home alone? Learn how to fend for yourself with some easy meals you can make from scratch! Join us once a month as we learn the basics of breakfast, lunch and dinner! In June, join us for breakfast as we learn three ways to cook an egg and how to flip the perfect pancake. Come back a little later in July as we make break, soups and salads. Honoring the found of our "Prairie Girl Primer Finishing School," Mrs. Harris's Prairie Girls are all grown up and want to give you the same fun old-fashioned experiences they loved. Learn the skills a proper lady or gentleman should know as you step into the 1890's by putting on clothes from the past, practicing manners, and good handwriting as you write in your journals, sew handy and useful items, cook on wood stoves and host a tea party at the end of the week.
