Stroke Refinement. 7-11 yrs. Must pass Level 4. Skills include: side stroke, shallow dives, flip turns, survival float, stroke refinement. To Pass: perform shallow dive into deep water, swim front crawl, change direction and swim elementary backstroke; swim breast stroke, change direction and swim back crawl. NOTE: in most cases, it will take a child more than one session of lessons to pass the level.
