Do you have your grandma, or great grandma's, antique treadle sewing machine hiding in your attic or basement because you always wanted to use it, but did not know how? Come on out to Ushers Ferry for this unique opportunity to learn more about your own family heirloom as you learn the basics of oiling, threading and sewing on a working treadle sewing machine as we sew a simple market bag. Each participant will be provided their own machine, iron, cutting table, and sewing supplies for their use in class and will have a bag to take home.
