Level 2 - Fall - 204202

Fundamental Water Skills. 5 -10 yrs. 4 year-olds may participate if they have passed Level 1. Skills include: bobbing, floating unsupported, front/back glides, combined stroke unsupported. To Pass: enter chest deep water, front float, roll to back float, return to vertical; swim using combined front stroke, roll to back and float, return to front and continue swimming. NOTE: in most cases, it will take a child more than one session of lessons to pass the level.

*******IMPORTANT CHANGE******* Due to social distancing requirements, Level 1, 2, and 3 are Parent/Child classes. One PARENT OR PERSON AGE 16 OR OLDER FROM THE SAME HOUSEHOLD MUST BE IN THE WATER AT ALL TIMES WITH THE PARTICIPANT. No additional family member or friends may enter the building. The instructor will be on the deck and the parent/guardian will assist their child in the water. The parent/guardian must not be fearful of the water. 4yr olds who have passed Level I can participate in Level II. All persons entering the building will be required to wear a mask. The mask may only be removed when the participant(s) is in the water.
